Founded in 2023, Sinewave Car Stereo was built with a passion for providing clients throughout Lake County, Illinois, with top-tier mobile electronics products and professional installation services.

At the heart of Sinewave is founder and Lead Technician Joe Giallombardo, an MECP Certified Installation Technician with more than 18 years of experience in the mobile electronics industry.

Joe's career has been built around a commitment to quality workmanship, technical knowledge, and staying ahead of an ever-changing automotive electronics industry. As vehicles become increasingly sophisticated, proper integration requires more than simply installing a product. 

It requires an understanding of the vehicle's electrical systems, factory electronics, communication networks, safety systems, and how aftermarket technology can be properly integrated.

Joe's MECP certification reflects his commitment to professional standards and technical expertise within the mobile electronics industry. The Mobile Electronics Certified Professional program is an industry-recognized certification focused specifically on automotive and in-vehicle electronics, including audio, electronic integration, safety, security, navigation, vehicle electrical systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting.

Joe's experience and dedication to the craft have also earned recognition from the Mobile Electronics Association, where he has been named among the industry's top installers multiple times:
